TikTok Effect: “El Chacal”

I’ve always been intrigued by the creative possibilities of TikTok effects. Today, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve finally learned how to create one myself! It’s a simple effect, but it feels like the start of something fruitful.

Getting familiar with how everything is organized and structured took some time. As someone who’s more comfortable with coding, navigating the UI and building things with visual scripting was a new challenge for me.

For my first attempt, I created an effect featuring El Chacal from Sábado Gigante. This guy is the reason behind my atychiphobia—the fear of failure. As a teenager, I dreaded his unexpected appearances, trumpet in hand, signaling mistakes. Despite that, I thought it would be fun to include him in my inaugural effect.

All jokes aside, I hope you all enjoy this effect as much as I enjoyed creating it. Long live El Chacal!
